Registration fees

The Symposium Scientific Committee has decided to cancel the registration fee. It will be free of charge for all the participants.

Registration

The symposium is only a couple of months away so we wanted to let you know that it become urgent to fill the registration form for all the participants (speakers, co-authors and accompanying persons) and also to book your hotel. The registration will be closed by the 20th August 2010.

The application/pdf Registration desk is open Wednesday (8am–9am) at the entrance of the main building o Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT de Chimie). The registration desk will be staffed to help answer questions regarding the meeting. If you have more general questions about the local area please contact the organisers for assistance.

Meeting rooms

The plenary sessions will be held in the auditorium of the Institut Universitaire de Technologie and poster presentation will occur in a room next door. During all sessions please turn off mobile phones or set to vibrate.

Presenter Information 

- Oral Presenters 

Talk lengths will be 15 minutes. This means presenters should aim for a 12 minute talk leaving 3 minutes for questions.
If you are speaking on Wednesday morning we would appreciate it if you could bring your presentation to the registration desk so we can get it loaded up.
For everyone else, please ensure you talks are loaded in advance either via the registration desk or during the tea or lunch breaks period prior to their presentation, at the latest.Speakers can review their slides at the time of loading to ensure formatting is retained.

Language 

The official language of the symposium will be English. Simultaneous translation of the oral presentations and debates will be ensured by professional translators (French/English).

- Poster Presenters 

Presenters are asked to place their poster on the assigned board on Wednesday to allow delegates time to view them. Each poster board will be labelled with a number, the author should place their poster in the appropriately numbered space. At least one author must be present during the entire poster session to answer questions. The poster session will be held during coffee break.

- Meeting Prizes 

Two prize categories are available during the conference: Student Best Talk, Student Best Poster. All prizes will be announced at the end of the last session.
